Permalac Original, Permalac EF, Permalac NT, and Permalac 2K can also be tinted with our line of translucent tints. These tints come in 7 colors: gold, copper, yellow, red, black, violet, and blue. These tints are colorfast, will not fade, and can be mixed to make a custom patina. Tints can be mixed between 1:15 (tint to lacquer) and 1:30 ratios to yield the best results. When used with PChrome, and to counteract the natural yellowing of top-coating silver, add 1 ml of Peacock Violet Compensating Tint for every 30 ml of the topcoat or 2K.
